As autumn unfolds and the moon is full, good news keeps coming! During the Mid-Autumn Festival, Zhejiang Juhonkia Intelligent Electric Co., Ltd. achieved a milestone breakthrough in its overseas business. Our self-brand 33kV C-GIS gas-insulated switchgear was successfully energized and commissioned for the 220kV substation project of the Ruisi Wind Power Plant in Georgia. This is Juhonkia’s first project implemented in Georgia. It marks the successful entry of our self-brand high-voltage switchgear assemblies into the Caucasus power market and realizes the breakthrough from zero in the commercial application of our self-brand gas-insulated switchgear in this region.

The 220kV substation of Ruisi Wind Power Plant in Georgia is a key local new energy infrastructure project. The project adopts 33kV C-GIS gas-insulated switchgear assemblies independently developed and manufactured by Juhonkia. Integrating primary main circuit, protection, measurement & control, interlocking operation and other functions, the product features compact footprint, high reliability, maintenance-free performance and strong environmental adaptability. It can reliably cope with the complex outdoor operating conditions of wind farms and meet the stringent standards for long-term stable operation of overseas new energy power stations.

The successful commissioning of this project provides field verification for Juhonkia’s self-brand high-voltage switchgear assemblies in the Caucasus new energy market. It represents a vital step in the company’s global EPC layout and sets a benchmark for the subsequent development of new energy and grid renovation projects in Georgia, the South Caucasus and Central Asia.
